I think that having the powder puff game at Groves is a good thing. It allows the girls to play football against each other and for the guys to do what the girls would do, which would be cheerleading. Its really good gender role reversal. It also allows the girls who want to play football but can’t play on the boy’s team to play football against other peers. It also is really fun and a funny thing to watch. Also the girls think that its really cool and really want to play. They also practice like the guys do and practice drills and all that. I just think powder puff is really good thing and everybody has a lot of fun watching it and doing it.
I believe that the powder puff game is a good opportunity for girls. The powder puff game gives both the girls and guys at our school an understanding of the pressures of the other gender. Girls learn how difficult it is to play football and experience the pressure of playing a football game in front of a huge crowd. The boys also learn how difficult being cheerleaders is and getting the crowd to root for the team. Not only is this a great learning experience but it is also very funny to watch the girls play foot ball and guys cheer lead. The game has become a popular activity for girls to participate in.

This is very different because not only are the girls on the field but the guys are dressed as girls, wearing mini skirts and sporting pom poms.

The boys get to experience how hard it is to be a cheerleader and the girls get to be football stars for one night. Girls and guys should both experience the other genders difficulties, just so they know how hard it is to be a cheerleader and football player. If girls wanted to play football and not be the only one or if guys wanted to be a cheerleader but were afraid of all the harassment they would get powder puff is the night for them to show what they’ve got. This way there aren’t any gender issues and girls can play at least one game of football and guys and cheer lead a least once. Powder puff is a charity for autism. This brings out a lot o money so everything is for a good cause this Wednesday.
